DiaMed Egypt was founded in 2000 by Dr. Magdy El-Ekiaby, establishing itself as a leading company in the field of immunohematology in Egypt. With over two decades of expertise, DiaMed Egypt has become synonymous with excellence in distributing and supporting medical laboratory reagents, equipment, disposables, and IT solutions. The company's headquarters are strategically located at 4-Kassem Street, Dokki, enabling seamless operations across the Egyptian healthcare sector.
DiaMed Egypt is renowned for its pivotal role in advancing the country's medical infrastructure. Notably, the company played a crucial role in the second phase of restructuring the Egyptian Blood Transfusion system on behalf of DiaMed Holding. This significant project, undertaken between 2007 and 2012, was valued at 12 million CHF. Moreover, DiaMed Egypt spearheaded the implementation of electronic blood banking systems within the National Blood Transfusion Services (NBTS), the Ministry of Health (MoH), and University Hospital Blood Banks, further cementing its status as a market leader.
The company also demonstrated its commitment to public health by managing the national premarital determination project for the D blood group in 2006. Today, DiaMed Egypt stands as a trusted partner in providing cutting-edge solutions to hospitals, laboratories, and private healthcare providers across Egypt.
